    Aleister Crowley was born on October 12, 1875, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. He was raised in a family belonging to the religious group known as the 'Plymouth Brethren'. His father, Edward, was an engineer but never worked a day in his profession, instead profiting from the family brewery business. Despite his father's efforts to impart the essence
